dental xray | Dentist Glenview ILCurrent, up-to-date x-rays are a vital part of our diagnosis and treatment process. X-rays allow our Glenview dentists to detect potential dental problems early and treat them while they are still small and treatable through conservative dentistry. Our patients' health and safety is our top priority at all times. We recommend specific frequencies of x-rays for each individual patient depending on their risk of developing dental disease.

Digital X-Ray Process

Our office uses digital x-rays, which transmit up to 90% lower levels of radiation than traditional x-rays. We also use lead aprons and thyroid collars for our patients' safety. We follow the ALARA principles (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) when recommending new x-rays for patients.

Benefits of Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays are not only safer for our patients, but they also offer many benefits to both us and our patients. Digital x-rays can be displayed immediately on the monitor, giving us a tool to educate patients about the state of their teeth and recommended treatment options. They also make transmission to insurance companies or other dental offices much faster and easier than traditional x-ray films.

We understand insurance and the cost of treatment play a major role in the decisions you make regarding dental treatment.  For your convenience we accept most major insurance plans and are in-network providers with multiple PPO insurance carriers, including those listed below:

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois
Delta Dental Premier

Yes, we do offer a limited warranty on the dental treatment we provide. At Gallery Park Dental we are proud of the dentistry that we provide for you and your family. Our primary focus is on the prevention of dental disease and maintaining optimal oral health for all of our patients. However, should dental problems occur, we not only want to correct the problem as soon as possible but also show you how to prevent those same issues from occurring in the future.  We are confident of the durability of our treatment as prescribed for you. The primary key to the long-term success of your dental treatment is daily brushing and flossing as well as the use of fluoride and any prescribed products.

How to Care for Dental Treatments

The long-term success of any dental treatment depends mostly upon continuing home care of your teeth and gums as well as regular professional examinations, cleanings, necessary x-rays and any necessary fluoride treatment. Failure to have these regular visits with our office voids all warranties.

It's important to feel confident that you're making the right decisions for your smile, and at Gallery Park Dental, we want to help in any way we can. We are happy to provide free consultations before beginning any comprehensive treatment to help patients make the best decision for their individual circumstances.

What to Expect During a Consultation

During a consultation, our Glenview dentists will perform a visual examination and discuss treatment options. We will take the time to educate each patient about the risks and benefits of each different treatment as it applies to them to ensure they are making a decision armed with the necessary knowledge.

A consultation also gives patients the opportunity to ask any questions they may have. Feel free to write them down before the appointment and review them with us to make sure all questions have been satisfactorily answered during the consultation. We will also try to anticipate questions that patients may not think to ask and answer them to offer the best service we can.

Once a consultation is completed and a treatment plan is agreed upon, our friendly office staff will assist patients with verifying insurance coverage and estimated out-of-pocket costs to make sure that patients feel confident with all aspects of their treatment.

At Gallery Park Dental we want to do everything possible to help connect our patients with the care they need and deserve. We don't want you to compromise your oral health just because you don't have dental insurance. For this reason, we offer a variety of payment options including CareCredit, payment plans, and an In-House Dental Membership Plan.

In-House Dental Membership Plan in Glenview

With our In-House Dental Membership Plan, you simply pay an annual enrollment fee and you and your family will receive, exams, x-rays, and cleanings for one year. The plan also provides for a reduction on services completed at our office. Please contact our Glenview dental office and speak to one of the members of our financial team for more information.

This is a complex question with many different answers. Every insurance plan is unique in the benefits they provide. If you have questions about your specific insurance policy or the coverage they provide, contacting your insurance provider is a good first step.

Helpful Financial Team in Glenview

At Gallery Park Dental, our financial team is well trained in working with many different insurance companies. We will perform a complimentary insurance benefits check and provide pre-treatment estimates for any proposed treatment. It's important to note that these are only estimates and may not accurately reflect the amount of coverage your insurance policy may provide. Ultimately, you will be responsible for any fees not covered by insurance.

Payment Plans Available

If you have any questions or concerns about the cost of treatment or your particular insurance coverage please give our office a call. We also offer payment plans and other financial options to help make your dental care more affordable.

At Gallery Park Dental, we feel that every patient should have access to necessary dental care, and we will do whatever we can to help patients get the treatment they need no matter their insurance coverage or financial situation.

Accepted Forms of Insurance

We work with a variety of insurance companies in our Glenview dental office, and we are always happy to perform a complimentary benefits check before any procedure to give patients an estimate of what their portion of the bill will be. We also file insurance claims and coordinate with insurance plans to get each patient the best coverage possible.

We Develop a Treatment Plan

Before beginning any comprehensive treatment, we develop a treatment plan and verify estimated insurance coverage. We make sure to submit any required pre-authorizations, including photos and x-rays when necessary, so our patients don't have to worry about the extra paperwork. If there are ever questions about insurance coverage or if something doesn't seem right, please let us know so we can investigate and make sure the insurance company is affording the proper coverage.

Payment Options in Glenview

For patients without insurance or with inadequate insurance coverage, we offer a variety of payment plans to help offset the cost of treatment. Our friendly office staff will explain available payment options before any treatment plan begins to help avoid unwelcome surprises when it's time to pay the bill.
